Overview

The Tasks app is designed to streamline workflow by collecting tasks that require action and providing an overview of daily events. It automates the creation and categorization of tasks, with a focus on important areas that require attention.

Supported Task Types

The app automatically generates and categorizes the following task types for each user:

Invoices:

  • Drafts not linked to an associated booking/appointment

  • Invoices not sent to the client

Journals:

  • Journals without an associated booking/appointment

  • Locked journals

  • Journals missing approval

Documents:

  • Documents missing approval

Bookings/Agreements:

  • Past bookings/appointments missing a journal entry

  • Past bookings/appointments missing an invoice

"Today"

In addition to automated tasks, the "Today" displays all bookings or appointments scheduled for the current day, regardless of status. This section has visual indicators to show the status of associated invoices and journal entries:

  • A gray button indicates a missing invoice or journal entry.

  • A green button indicates that an invoice or journal entry is in place.

Usage

Enabling the App:

  • Navigate to the "Apps" section of the user interface and enable the "Tasks" app.

Calendar:

  • Once the app is enabled, go to the "Calendar" section of the UI.

Tasks:

  • Click the sidebar button within the Calendar section to display the task list.

Restrictions

  • Journal tasks: These tasks are only visible if the Journal app is enabled.
